Based in Prescott, Arizona, Mitts builds songs from lived experience: survival, healing, hope, rejection, perseverance, faith, and the long road back to peace. Moving seamlessly from intimate acoustic textures to bigger electric arrangements, her songs reveal both range and emotional depth across an extensive catalog. Her growing body of work includes albums such as Sing Baby Sing, Broken Crayons, and Fly Away, along with standout singles like “Humble Road” and “Arizona.” She was recently signed with international independent artist label, Rexius Records and will be releasing two new singles and a new album in the fall of 2026.

Lisa has earned major independent recognition, including three 2026 World Entertainment Awards, two ISSA Gold Album of the Year honors, and the 2025 Elite Music Award for Songwriter of the Year, and a finalist for North America in the upcoming 2026 ICMA (Intercontinental Music Awards). In addition to her solo work, she has collaborated with various artists and contributed to songwriting for other musicians.
